23 Banks Obligated to Report Credit Card Transaction To DGT
The Ministry of Finance has recently issued new regulation, which obligate banks / institutions that issue credit card to report any data or credit card transactions of their customers to the Directorate General of Taxation (DGT).
The obligation was published complete in the Minister of Finance Regulation No.39/PMK.03/2016 concerning Details of Data and Information as well as the Procedures for Submission Data and Information Relating to Taxation. The regulation represents fifth amendment of the Minister of Finance Regulation No. 16/PMK.03/2013.
Details data and information of customers credit card at least contain the following:
- Bank name
- Credit card account numbers
- Merchant ID
- Merchant name
- Cardholder’s name
- Cardholder’s adddress
- NIK / cardholder’s passport number
- TIN of cardholder
- Month bills
- Transaction date
- Details of the transaction
- The value of transaction
- Credit limit
Data and information above shall be reported to the Directorate General of Taxation (DGT) no later than May 31, 2016, either through electronic (online) as well as directly.

- PT Bank Mega, Tbk
- PT Bank Negara Indonesia 1946 (Persero), Tbk
- PT Bank Negara Indonesia Syariah
- PT Bank OCBC NISP, Tbk
- PT Bank Permata, Tbk
- PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero), Tbk
- PT Bank Sinarmas

This regulation has been enacted and valid on March 23, 2016.
